Launching for 2022 - "The Blue Space Concept Coaching Space"

Hopefully, in 2022, we will be able to emerge from our COVID Cocoons.  As someone who is a curious, creative and hopefully connected individual, the 21 months since March 2020,  has provided time to reflect, study, research and do many hours as a volunteer coach (working with vulnerable adults); I did, finally learn a new skill (block paving a raised area of my garden) on Christmas Day 2020.   As I emerge forward into 2022 I look to focus on the things in life that bring me happiness, fulfillment and a sense that I am contributing positively to the world in whatever small way I can.    And so I launch The Blue Space Concept Coaching Space; a Coaching Space which gives time to the individual for the exploration of thoughts, ideas, fears, aspirations and challenges.  Coaching sessions can be health and well-being, performance, career development/transition  focused.  And ... the holistic health of the person is what is important, so whether physical, mental, emotional and spiritual, fundamentally the coaching space; where it takes place and what is discussed, is unique and defined you. Christa married, became a mother fto three cygnets.  She continues as Artistic Director of the highly successful Walsall Academy of Dance https://walsallacademyofdance.co.uk/home-page/principal  Kasia, as a result of the partnership between BRB and dna3d was offered a contract with the Birmingham Royal Ballet Department of Learning and Participation.  Kasia and has gone on to become Engagement Manager within the department.  Shanelle’s performing career continued to bloom with Shanelle performing with ACE Dance and Music, Rosie Kaye, for who she has become a rehearsal director.  Shanelle also contributed to the Birmingham Commonwealth Games handover ceremony, leading a section of the work beamed live from Birmingham to Brisbane.  Michael Price won an Emmy with David Arnold for Sherlock  and has since, established the Michael Price Trio and Ensemble to perform his own work. https://www.michaelpricemusic.com  Ian Wallman has become a hugely successful photographer http://www.ianwallman.com

Victory Ceremonies 2012 ... mission complete

I can't quite believe it but the Games are over... I keep having to pinch myself that I am back here in Birmingham and tomorrow when I wake up it won't be 04:00 hours and I won't have to get on the N8 bus to the Mall ( well Tottenham Court Road and then a walk to the Mall!) for the early morning medal delivery. I must say for at least the first 3 nights back here I had dreams about Victory Ceremonies for Boxing, Cycling and then one about having to get Sir Stephen Redgrave to the Athletes Victory Parade... Arena Theatre … here we come

Waking at 4.30 am through the Christmas and New Year period has much to do with our new performance project Podium Finish. This morning was no exception and the times and dates on the dna3d ‘rehearsal pod’ blog will show 26 entries between 5 and 5.30am this morning. This is because the outline of the project and what is behind the new piece, a piece that takes the 26.2 miles of a marathon as the backbone of the piece. I don’t want to say too much just yet... World Championship Performances

Check out the fabulous pictures on the dna3d flickr feed to see the colour and energy of the Opening Ceremony of the Trampoline and Tumbling World Championships at the NIA back in November 2011. 100 performers as Bugs, Bees, Butterflies, Icarus, the Wright Brothers, RAF & WAF pilots, Air Tourists, Cosmonauts and Astronauts, and models of Spitfires, Bi-planes, Red Arrows, Concorde and the Soyuz Rocket, whirred, spun, jumped, pirouetted, floated and soared around the Arena, as the Opening Ceremony told the story of the history of flight in dance, poetry and acrobatics.
